MARCH 31, deadline to pay dues without late penalty (download dues form here in .pdf): 2018 Annual Dues of $175 are due by March 31.  After March 31, 2018 there is a late fee of $10.  Dues are the first item on the registration form.

APRIL 13, DEADLINE TO NOMINATE INDUCTEES: The process to nominate an inductee has been simplified. 

The induction form has been eliminated and you just need to send a resume, bio or CV of your candidate(s).  The Membership Chair will confirm that the candidate meets all the requirements and submits the candidate to the Director for approval.  The other change that is that we will have “rolling admissions”.  As soon as the candidate is approved she will be notified of her acceptance.

 

If you have a candidate to present, please send resume, bio or CV to Dr. Yasmia Dunn, the Membership Chair, dr.ydunn@gmail.com. The deadline for submitting candidates is April 13, 2018. Inductees will be notified by May 4.

 

There are three requirements to join COD. 

 

1)      Membership is by invitation or sponsorship only and the member inviting or sponsoring the candidate must
          have paid her dues for the current year;

2)      The candidate must have earned a doctorate from a regionally accredited institution as defined by the U.S.
          Department of Education;

3)      The candidate must support the mission of the CONSORTIUM OF DOCTORS, LTD. 

 

MAY 20, END OF EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION FOR THE CONFERENCE (download registration form here in .pdf):  The conference begins with a reception on Thursday, July 26 at 7:00 p.m. and ends after 10 a.m. church service on Sunday, July 29. Please follow our Facebook page to be notified of conference events as they become available.

 

JUNE 1, DEADLINE FOR ADS FOR SOUVENIR BOOK: (download ad form here in .pdf):  All ads should be sent to Dr. Phyllis Qualls-Brooks, Co-Director, Newsletter Editor and Souvenir Book Coordinator by June 1, 2018.  COD is encouraging all members and inductees to promote sponsorship of at least one ad.
